Welcome to St. John Neumann Parish
St. John Neumann Parish serves the Roman Catholic community in East Freetown, Massachusetts and is part of the Diocese of Fall River. Founded in 1984, we are young as a parish and young in spirit as well. With the Eucharist at the center of our life, we strive to give witness to our faith in Jesus Christ by living the gospel and ministering in Christ's name to one another and to the greater community. The parish has continued to grow as we celebrate our gratitude for God's abundant blessings. Our beautiful new church was dedicated in 1988 and we share the grounds of the Fall River Diocese's Cathedral Camp. The natural setting is peaceful and serene with an abundance of wildlife, trees and fields, and inspiring views of Long Pond from the church. We hope you will come to join us in prayer and worship, in ministry and service in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are a parish family with lots of opportunities for you to share your time, talent and treasure. Adoration in the Chapel, youth group activities, and cabarets are just a few of the things going on in our happy, holy, and healthy parish. There is something designed especially for you.
The installation of Bishop Edgar M. daCunha, S.D.V., as Eighth Bishop of the Fall River Diocese, will be televised on WLNE-TV, Channel 6, beginning at 2pm on September 24, 2014 . Catholic TV of Boston will also air the installation at that time.
